Job Description:
As a Pastry Assistant you'll be the artisan behind the confections, assisting in crafting a delightful array of pastries. Your baking skills and dedication will be the secret ingredients that make our pastry creations shine.

Key Responsibilities:

- Baking and Preparation: Assist in the preparation and baking of a variety of pastries, including cakes, cookies, tarts, and bread.
- Ingredient Measurement: Accurately measure and weigh ingredients for recipes.
- Decorating: Help with the decoration of pastries, including frosting, icing, and garnishing.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all pastries meet our high standards of taste, presentation, and quality.
- Kitchen Organization: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen.
- Inventory Management: Assist in managing ingredient inventory and reporting any shortages.
- Assist Pastry Chef: Collaborate with the Pastry Chef and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth pastry production process.
- Health and Safety: Adhere to health and safety guidelines, maintaining a clean and sanitary pastry kitchen.

Requirements:

- Prior experience as a Pastry Assistant or in a similar role.
- Culinary degree or equivalent pastry training is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and baking fundamentals.
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional pastries.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
